Centered on baseball, it provides sports-based education to youth and young adults in Southeast Asia, fostering character, leadership, and self-reliance, while actively promoting international friendship and exchange.

Baseball Talent Development
We provide holistic training that integrates leadership, teamwork, and character education through baseball, promoting the overall growth of young athletes.

Laos National Baseball Team Program
Community-Based Living
Global Brothers provides a shared living environment for both male and female athletes of the Laos national baseball teams. Alongside athletic training, the program emphasizes character development, communal living, and self-directed learning.
Holistic Growth Support
Our focus goes beyond athletic performance—we aim to foster personal growth and social independence. Representing Laos in international competitions, the players bring pride to their country both on and off the field.
Role Models for the Next Generation
The team serves as a source of hope and inspiration for the youth of Laos, demonstrating the transformative power of sports in driving personal and societal change.
Before Global Brothers, there was a vision. This is the journey.

2013
Sangwook Jae, driven by a vision to support Lao youth through sports, founded the first-ever baseball team in Laos, beginning with just 12 local teenagers.

2014
Launched the Korea-Laos International Baseball Tournament, held annually from 2014 to 2024.

2015
Chairman Man-Soo Lee of the Hulk Foundation joined the mission as a key supporter and partner. Korean ministries and associations dispatched coaches and provided equipment.

2017
The Laos Baseball Federation was officially established with support from the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports.

2018
Officially joined the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) and the Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA). Made history by participating in the Asian Games (Jakarta) for the first time.

2019
With sponsorship from Daegu Bank, the first artificial turf baseball stadium in Southeast Asia — DGB Baseball Stadium — was built in Vientiane.

2020
In partnership with KOICA, 11 Korean baseball coaches were dispatched to help launch new teams at Dongdok National University and Vientiane National High School.

2021
The Korea Embassy in Laos initiated the Korea Embassy Baseball League.

2023
Hosted the DGB Cup Dream League, a WBSC-sanctioned international tournament. Sangwook Jae was appointed Head Coach of the Laos National Baseball Team. Participated in the East Asia Cup, placing 5th, and competed in the Hangzhou Asian Games. Climbed the WBSC World Baseball Rankings from 84th to 47th place, recognized as a role model and impactful case of Korea-Laos cooperation.

2024
Launched a community-based residential training system for national team players. Strengthened cooperation between the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports, the Lao National Olympic Committee, and the Laos Baseball Federation. Global Brothers was officially founded to systematize and expand the vision.

Global Brothers receives no financial support from the government or international organizations. Instead, it is fully operated through the generous contributions of individuals and groups both in Korea and abroad. Your donations help cover the living expenses, training, equipment, and education of the Laos national baseball teams.
Designated as a Public Interest Corporation by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Korea, all donations are eligible for income tax deductions in accordance with Korean tax law. Your support is the key to unlocking a brighter future for the youth of Laos.
